Jack works as a writer, director and cinematographer.

As a director, he has worked for a broad range of clients and artists including Alain de Botton, The Cancer Council, The AFLW, Slum Sociable and Client Liaison. His first music video ‘Free of Fear’, an off-beat comedy exploring corporate and ancient-greek mythology was nominated for Australian Music Video of the Year at the 2014 J Awards. More recently, his surreal ‘All Night’ was selected as a semi-finalist for the Los Angeles Music Video Festival. In 2019, Jack completed his short film, ‘A Morning Ritual’, a dark comedy starring Rhys Mitchell which premiered on Opening Night at St Kilda Film Festival.

As a cinematographer, Jack recently earned an ACS bronze award for his work on Melbourne’s ‘Arts Learning Festival’- a commercial which he co-wrote with frequent collaborator Katerina Larsen. Jack’s combined cinematographer / writer skillset has been a feature of his work with Katerina with whom he has collaborated on several projects including the Cancer Council’s recent TVC, ‘Thirsty’ and QUIT’s ‘Save A Life’. Jack has also recently completed additional cinematography for the documentary ‘The Leunig Fragments’, directed by Kasimir Burgess which recently screened at Sydney and Melbourne International Film Festivals.

Jack is based in Melbourne and is available for freelance work both in Australia and internationally.
